The highlight of Time Out Market Barcelona is undoubtedly the food (and the drinks) but the market has a lot more to offer than just eating and drinking. Its two stages showcase the incredible talent of the city with live performances ranging from intimate concerts to drag shows, as well as DJ sessions and activities for kids. And, as with everything at the Market, it’s all carefully curated by the editorial team at Time Out Barcelona! You’ll find all the Market’s latest events, right here.

As the song House Can't Go Wrong says, DJ Xexo promises a spicy evening with doses of house, jazz, and funk at Time Out Market on Wednesday, May 28 from 7.30 PM to 9 PM, during TastOut, and on Thursday, May 29 from 6.30 PM to 8 PM for the After Work 39

Don’t be fooled by his mullet hairstyle and matching mustache—this trendy-looking young man is one of the most original when it comes to spinning records. So much so that you'll need to pull out Shazam constantly to find out what new track he’s just dropped.

The event is part of the Market’s free programming, where you can enjoy the best of Barcelona’s gastronomy all under one roof!

If you’re among the blessed who say the weekend starts on Thursday (or you want to become one), this plan will make your knees tremble. Sign up for After Work 39 for free — the post-work meetup made for all of you working in the 08039 area and around the Port of Barcelona.

The first gathering takes place on Thursday, May 29 from 6 PM at the Rooftop Bar Xaloc, inside the Time Out Market. A rooftop that leaves you speechless, suspended among the greenery of the Port, where you can watch the sun go down while live music and DJ Xexo deliver their knockout blow. House, jazz, and funky, along with a great arsenal of drinks and fantastic snacks from any of the market’s food corners, will have you rolling with joy. The push you need to finish the week standing tall! What are you waiting for?

This Monday, June 2nd, Time Out Market Barcelona turns into the pressure cooker of cocktail talent as it hosts the national final of the World Class competition. The eight best bartenders in Spain arrive in the Catalan capital to prove who deserves the crown of the country’s top mixologist.

Throughout the day, starting at 11 AM, the Market will become a stage bursting with passion, creativity and –above all– great taste. The finalists, chosen for their excellence behind the bar, will take on a series of challenges spread across iconic spaces like Xaloc, Time Out Bar and Paradiso. Only one will earn the title of Spain’s best bartender – and then go all in at the global competition!

Entry is free, so get ready to enjoy a high-energy day of top-tier cocktails, style, rhythm and live showmanship. If you’re a fan of mixology, this is your chance to see the best of the best in action.

And don’t forget: the Market often hosts more free events you’ll love, from concerts and performances to fun activities for the little ones. Coming to enjoy it with us?
